Summer time

Heres our summer from the end of May to middle of July.  It was crazy, busy and wonderful.  We really do try to have as much fun as possible in summer.  Although, the kids are getting older and want to spend more time with friends than on family adventures, so we take that into consideration.  We were at home more than usual.  But, it's super fun to have kids running in and out of the house.  Such a new adventure.  Summer is awesome!

The boys played some futcinco this summer and they actually played against each other a few times. I think they both beat each other once, but I seriously can't remember.  It was just so much fun to watch them play and progress in their game of soccer.  I'm so proud of them. Ethan made the competitive Elite team for Storm and has amazing teammates and coach. Can't wait to see what fall season brings for him.  The boys are being split up into their age groups for fall.  Both on their respective top teams.  They work hard and play hard.  Couldn't be prouder.

Goal!

Headed back to girls camp this year.  I was in the kitchen with these amazing women.  The Lord brought us together and I couldn't be more grateful.  Kedzie's first year was a super success and although we had smoke among many other issues in the kitchen, we survived!

We can clean up pretty well when we have a wedding to attend!

The boys had practice 1-2 times a week all summer.

We spent a lot of afternoons at the pool. My kids are fish and I loved the alone time in the shade or chatty time with various friends moms who joined us.

Kedzie and Peyton had a fantastic week at horse camp.

Camping in the backyard is just as good as the real thing, right?!

Kedzie was on swim team again this summer. She was at the pool every morning at 7:45 for an hour.  So proud of her commitment and dedication to the sport.  She came home with some nice ribbons after each swim meet.  She's learning a lot.

Wiley is ready to cheer on the Rapids, and so are we.  I loved having season tickets and being able to pick and choose who would go to games and when we'd go.  We had a lot of fun as a family and taking friends to games.  This game we were lucky and obtained a lot of autographs and photographs of our favorite players.  So much fun to meet them.

Alex invited Everett to a game

Kedzie and Olivia had their first kids club and it was a success.  Look at all the kids they watched for two hours.  They made money and memories. They are great little babysitters.  Proud of the effort they put in to organizing and recruiting kids to babysit.  Super fun morning for all.

We fished and wandered around a lake near our home one day.  Lots of adventures.

E and K spent their money on these air filled chairs. So silly.

Ava and Bergen moved further away from us, so these two got together for a "hang out" one night.

Jacob left on his mission in the DR.  Excited to see how tall the kids get over the next two years

All these two wanted to do one day was bowl! So we did while the other two were at...

...basketball camp with their buddies Tyler and Camden.

Amy and I continue our bi-monthly nail and soda routine.  We got a little patriotic for the 4th!

We love our Wiley dog!

My token 4th of July picture!

The kids saved up their money to pay for half a day at boondocks. I paid the rest and we had a blast.  Every one did everything and Kedzie learned how to drive?! It was a great day.

A picture of us with the Watson's and Krause's from the air!

Cow appreciation day.  Any excuse to dress up!
