August fun

I need to post some friend pictures, because I have them and we are grateful for friends.
These two crazies! Love them.

Kedzie's friend Melanie moved this summer so she had her over a few times to make some final memories together.

Team Colombia at the pool.

Alex has some great kids in his primary class.

The three amigos. Melanie, Kedzie and Amber.

Another three some, Jada, Ethan and Jackson in matching colors, by accident

"Your Pie" had their grand opening and everyone showed up at the same time and day.  So, the Hosfelt, Ravsten and Cottrell kids enjoyed lunch together.

Kedzie and her swimming friends, plus Cali

Moving on with the rest of the summer....
Kedzie had a great season with the Frogs and got a medal at her party

Can't post without a picture of the dog and can't forget to post that we play video games every day for 15 minutes.  It's my tool to get things done and it works.

Go Broncos.
Third year in a row, Bronco Training Camp!
This year we got Jill and two of her kids to come. Another fun year in the books.

Ethan got Will Parks, #34 and Emmanuel Sanders #10 autographs this year. He actually asked Parks for his glove and he handed it over.  Such a fun experience for Bronco Fans.

The crew. We are lucky to have this opportunity to be so close to these gifted athletes.

Well, then we were heading to lunch and this big guy says hi to Triston and we suddenly realized that it was Garret Bolles, the drafted rookie from Utah. I asked him if Aggies and Utes can be friends and he said yes and gave me a hug.  We'd read his story and watched him at camp. It was so awesome to meet him in person.  He's a member of the Church and has a new baby and beautiful wife.  His mom was with him as well.  He's had a rough life and has a great, successful, spiritual story.  So proud of him representing our faith in the NFL.  Go Bolles.

Ethan made it on the Sanders video on Facebook.  Isn't he so cute, there on the left!?

Kedzie participated in an invitational in August.  She swam two strokes and disqualified in one and came in 5th I think in another.  But, it was her first official swim meet and we are so proud of the work she put into swimming this summer.  It has been amazing for her.

She also keeps getting more and more blind! And we had to get reading glasses.

Alex got Dillon #17 from the Rapids autograph on his ball

Kedzie got to go to a concert with her friend Brooke at the fair and of course, ate like a champ!
