January 2022

Happy 2022...hopefully not 2020 too...lol

We started the year off by actually going to a movie theater to see Spider Man No Way Home. Fabulous! I'm adding a bunch of random pictures, because our lives are full of random!

Ethan can still fit in the dog crate

Phoebe is getting used to going to the office with Travis

Grateful Anne drives the boys home from school when it's cold.

"Potted Potter"
Hilarious two-man show throwing all 7 Harry Potter books into 70 minutes of comedy. We laughed until we cried. As you can see, some were more excited than others to attend, but I promise, everyone was happy they went after the show ended. It was a great evening.

Alex and his EDS team played in a futcinco tournament in Colorado Springs one Saturday. He continues to love playing soccer...obviously

Phoebe still love laundry! And waits there until someone comes home.

Alex's soccer team made it on the Rapids Youth website and Facebook page after making their sifting boxes. Pretty awesome!

This is the best picture I could get of our newest soccer referee! Triston completed his in person class and is ready to ref as soon as the spring season begins. He's excited to make some dinero.

Our newest puppy. JK

This is what COVID 19 looks like for us!
"It's merely a flesh wound!"

Triston had a cold/cough an we just thought it was his annual cough. We never worried about it until Alex got some diarrhea. We decided when Ethan got it too, that we should test those two. Alex came back negative and Ethan positive. I had a sore throat and a headache an my co worker gave me an at home test that I took and was positive. So, Ethan and I had head cold symptoms and were home for five days. Then, Alex just couldn't kick his cough and Travis started having cold symptoms, so we got he and Alex tested. Alex came back negative again and Travis positive. Alex still missed a lot of school due to stomach pain and coughing. Travis worked from home and Kedzie never had one single symptom. Travis did make us laugh when he said something like our family had evaded COVID for two years, only to have it be a head cold. We are lucky that's all it was. Grateful to be through the experience and onto other things. Grateful no one had any terrible symptoms and we are all back to our normal selves; although Alex still has a cough!!!

Finally, Merle retired from her correlation job ("911 Merle") after 51 years. So proud of her and so grateful for all her service to our family both on Earth and our ancestors beyond the veil. She was honored by the First Presidency with a bronze Christus and a nice letter of thanks.
