Life continues to fly by! October didn't slow down much. The boys finished their soccer seasons on very high notes, Kedzie played in her orchestra concert, Basketball began, halloween celebrations and a new job for mom, all in a short period of time.
Kedzie is on the far right. No great way to snag a photo, but she still loves playing in the orchestra.
Here is Alex's team, typing in a 1-0 win against the first place team in the state, Real Academy. The boys did it! They played their best soccer and went out and beat them to the point that the other team was crying. It was insane and euphoric. Everyone was so happy with their performance. It was awesome.
After the game, we planned to go to Boondocks, whether win or lose. The win just made it that much better! These boys are awesome. So grateful they are a part of Alex's world.
Jina and I were the 3v3 coaches this fall, just some moms helping their boys play some soccer. The boys took second place overall and killed it! Look at the size difference for some of these boys! It's insane. They only lost two games to the same team. It was so much fun.
Rough life for Miss Phoebe and her mom!
Triston's face when we announced that he was in fact, invited to Spain to participate in Mundialito next Spring. I've never seen him so happy. He had to ask twice if he was really invited. Alex was invited too, so he, Triston and I will be heading to Spain in April with the Bradford's and the XR crew. Can't wait. So proud of Triston for never quitting. He's incredible.
I decided I was bored and depressed at home so I started looking for jobs and started my new PRN job at St. Anthony's North on 10/18 with orientation! It was at home, on the computer, pretty breezy!
The end of October, I walked into the hospital to be an official Case Manager! I trained three days a week for three weeks. I'm loving the job and the position. I love the coworkers and the fact that I work at a hospital blows my mind and possibly blows my mom's mind. It's perfect for me and the pay is great and I can be around for my kids when they need me after school and I'm happy. Oh so happy. I do need to work on selfies tho! lol
Alta, Kedzie, Kaylen and Reese having fun at the pumpkin patch and maze.
She continues to love laundry and wait for me when I'm gone, right there!
And apparently, he loves laundry too and got himself into this pile of softness on his own!
Busted! Trying to get a treat out of the bag.
Triston and his Select II team at the end of the season! He loves these boys and this team. I'm so grateful for them and grateful for the opportunity he has to play with such awesome young men. He will continue to do indoor with them throughout winter. Go Rapids!
