Oh February! The month with two birthdays, valentines,s skiing, soccer and basketball. It was a busy, yet fun month. I'm grateful Colorado is as open as it is I suppose. It could be worse and it could be better. To start, I have a ton of photos of Phoebe! Sweet girl. She is so much fun. She and Wiley pretty much follow me around the house all day. She wants to play and then if she hats rest, she will. She loves driving in the neighborhood with the window down and the air blowing in her face.
Our friend Avan gave Kedzie a thank you note for her work at chick-fil-a!
Thank you Kedzie for serving my family good food. You are always so nice. We are glad you work at Chick-fil-a! Love, Avan
She is loving her job and doing a great job at it. We are so proud of her commitment and dedication.
Love these three; walking to middle school.
Kedzie made it to one swim meet. She was quarantined twice during swim causing her to be out of school and swim for 28 days. I think she made it to two days of school since it started back up, until she went back last week. It's ridiculous. I can't say much more. Rules have to be followed, even stupid ones. Did I mention she can work, but she can't go to school or swim. Shakin' my head folks.
Oh she's so fun.
The Hawks and their masks with their numbers on them!
The pictures didn't load in order for some reason, and I don't want to spend time moving them around. But, yesterday, March 1st, I accomplished something! I completed 365 days of spanish on duo lingo. I still have a long ways to go if I ever want to really speak Spanish, but it's helpful and something to do that helps me learn and grow.
Due to the great snow storm we had a week ago, you'll see pictures below, soccer has had to be inventive. Although tournaments were cancelled, Xavi decided it would be fun for the boys to practice in the parking lot and that they did and it was great. Games start in two weeks!
Miss thing loves to dig in the dirt. She takes regular baths! She doesn't look like the same dog at all! lol
Triston is tall...now about 5'3. What?!
We are officially going to Disney World so we ordered some Star Wars masks on Etsy! We had to look disney-ish or at least like we belong somehow! Going with the Dorsett's. Can't wait.
Here's the snow storm! The Bradford's and Matthew came to sled with us. It was the biggest storm we've had in about three years! Around a foot of snow. It was a beautiful sunny day when all was said and done. Great to have a snow day and not be online.
Someone, anonymously, sent me chocolates. yum. Thanks for my admirer!
These two had a date night to Red Robin...Yum!
While Alex played in an 11v11 scrimmage against a team a year older. It was tough, but good.
Ethan made it on instagram as he packed bags for food for hope. Grateful he decided to go with Kedzie. He's a good kid and now his back is famous! ha ha
This is how you do FCS when you are hybrid learning! Lame, but he made great rolls!
I may have taken a nap after having a rough morning. Phoebe is my nap support animal
He's a monster of some sort.
Valentines Day was on a sunday so we had a fondu dinner. It was delicious and fun to be with those I love the most.
I'm trying to be a better citizen and mom of a black son. I read this book this month and loved it. It was too challenging to understand either. We just have to keep pushing for equality and I have to keep being here for Triston. Bad things haven't really happened to him yet, but I'm here if they ever do.
Kedzie turned 16 in February
Ethan turned 14 in February.
It was a busy, good month and now we go into spring and hopefully back to some normalcy this summer.
