Unbelievable that my first son is now fourteen! He is the best, the smartest, the funniest, the most challenging and the craziest kid. We wouldn't be the same without him. Happy birthday Ethan!
All he wanted this year was to go snowboarding with friends and have his buddy Camden come for a visit. We complied! It was a fantastic weekend. Lots of loud boys playing video games and eating food.
Ethan is doing great in school and he actually chose to stay home and do remote this semester. I don't understand it, for social reasons, but all his needs are met with his friends, and after school hours and weekends. He has been snowboarding more this year than ever thanks to Dave Layman and the three times I drove him up. He loves our dogs and he's nice to his siblings more than not. He loves to tease them relentlessly, but I think that's his job as a brother. He's growing rather tall, rather quickly. He's 5'4" right now and finally over 100 lbs. He is still playing soccer, a fantastic ref and he is has to goal to try and maybe put more effort into learning about our Savior, Jesus Christ. He hugs us and has us give him a kiss each and every night and he does keep up posted on his adventures. I love watching him grow and change. We have come a long way in the last two years, and I'm super proud of him for not giving up along the way. He is handsome, smart, kind and funny. Happy 14th birthday Ethan. We love you so much.
