Such a huge birthday for my little girl! Kedzie is now 16 and loving every minute of it. She is now a driver of the CRV and is free to go to work and school and starbucks and the store as she so desires! We had a full actual birthday. She had her final drive and drive test, got her license, got her passport, ate chipotle, got cupcake love from the Hollands, drove herself to young women and a few days later, got her covid vaccine! (Thanks to her employment in food services and Kaiser being ahead of the game!)
Kedzie is beautiful, thoughtful, kind, sensitive, happy, friendly and organized. She is always excited about church activities and heading to work. She was quarantined due to swim team for a total of 28 days which was the hardest thing for her. It's hard to focus online when there are so many other things you could be doing. But, she didn't complain and she is getting good grades and continues to work hard. She is an amazing young women whom we love with all our hearts. She laughs when she tells me she is going to leave us and go to college in two years. Gulp. How is this possible. I barely know who she is and she just keeps growing and changing and improving. She's pretty remarkable. I'm so proud to be her mom. I'm so grateful she came first. I'm grateful to have a daughter that will be a life long friend.
Happy sweet sixteen my sweet baby girl.
