Oh my...Fall was full! Full of soccer, Young Women, soccer, school, work, service and beginning of basketball. We never have free days...I like it like that for the most part. Sundays are for rest!
Triston's first tournament in Competitive soccer and his team won. Super excited to see this team learn to play the game together. He's so happy that he made the 2nd highest team in the club for his age. He's working on being a goalie this year. Playing half time in goal and half on the field. So, he has a lot of training between team and goalie, but he never complains about it. He loves it.
Alex's team dominated at a friendly tournament. It wasn't really fair for the other teams, but it was a good warm up for the team as they look forward to an exciting season of soccer.
The team got tickets to a Rapids game, so of course we all went. It was great. Everyone could be with their friends and enjoy a horrible game of soccer. Rapids are really bad this season, but it's still fun to be there.
Alex is also goalie for some part of the game. These pictures were on a website of the friendly tournament. He was warming up his friends as they were shooting at him.
Beautiful Colorado. Practices are worth this view.
I got a job people! I love it so much. I feel like my mom and the Lord had a hand in providing me with this opportunity. I have been on the look out for the perfect job for the last year and half. This job is with Interim Home Health and it is on an as needed basis. I sometimes see four patients a week and sometimes one. I'm a Medical Social Worker now and my primary clients are the elderly. Thanks to my mom who taught me to love the elderly and how to talk with them and be around them. I compare it to visiting teaching! I go into their homes and help them with whatever problems they are experiencing by finding them resources and giving them ideas to solve those issues. I love it so much. It makes me more time conscious and gets me out into the community. It is a blessing. We are also loving the bit of extra money as we have some big trips coming in 2019.
Young Women volleyball
We discovered the kids can go hit a bucket of balls for free at the golf course. Bring it.
Perry took these three to a Rockies game and they loved every minute.
Learned that my sweet cousin Christie has been experiencing some liver failure. This is a picture of her and her family. I love the Owen's so much. They were the closest thing to siblings I had growing up. I'm proud of Christie for making some tough life changes and working hard to become healthier.

The boys, Matthew, Trindon and Braylon were in a 3v3 basketball league this fall and it was tough. They didn't win a game, but they learned a lot about basketball and playing as a team. They definitely improved their game. And look at those tough, cute faces.
My sweet Kedzie girl.

Jill and I are back to delivering food for Food for Hope on Thursday mornings. We travel to North Star Elementary with around 18 bins of food for kids who are needing food over the weekend. Grateful for this hour of service and free therapy with my awesome friend Jill.

Travis was in charge of a Stake dinner and it went off without a hitch. He did a great job. So proud of his efforts. I was just there to be his minion. It turned out so great.
Did I forget to tell you that I own an apartment complex? Well, I don't. But, someone owns this trashy complex. Eek.

Alex has been invited to a soccer tournament in Spain, April 2019. What an opportunity for him. It's called Mundialito and it takes place just south of Barcelona. Of course, he's going and of course, I'm going with him. He will be playing with three boys from his club and then his coach is gathering the rest of the players from Washington DC and Spain. Can't wait for this experience. Alex is an amazing soccer player and athlete. So proud of his hard work and commitment to the sport.
About two weeks after Alex was invited to Spain, I got this email from Coach Xavi inviting Ethan to Spain as well. Of course, he is going! He has been injured this season and out of soccer. It has taken a toll on him in all aspects, but through mental health services and RedLine Athletics, he's bouncing back and will be an amazing asset to his team in Spain. Can't wait for this adventure with my boys. As a side note, Triston was disappointed about not being invited, but he is being so awesome about it. His turn to do something amazing will come. And, the team just above him is so talented that it makes it hard for his team to work their way into being invited. However, he is a great sport about the whole thing and looks forward to spending time with Travis and Kedzie.
