busy month of October

Life is in full swing! And October isn't any different. It was packed. The boys were in a cross country meet and ran against 138 other fourth grade boys in the district. Their results were amazing. Our school took 3rd place as a whole. Alex took 10th and Triston took 63rd. They are so fit and fun.

Zalan, Brock, Beckham, Triston, Alex and Matthew. Two other boys not pictured.

My Harris friends added their baby Tommy to their bunch. Love them.

Grandma Wood passed away on October 5th so we drove out for her funeral. We stayed in a hotel and had a lovely time with extended family and with our little family. Who knew we needed a long drive to bring us a little closer. Thanks Grandma Wood. We love you and always knew you loved us.

We came home to some snow and some crazy fun.

Sometimes they remember they are still only 9 years old. I love this so much.

and our crazy crew!

Kedzie was the conductor for the quintet at the school talent show. They played a song from Beauty and the Beast. It was fabulous.

Young Women activity at the corn maze. Good times with good girls.

Together, our familiy made 44 batches of halloween sugar cookies as a fundraiser for Spain. It was quite lucrative and a lot of work, but totally manageable and worth it. Grateful for everyones donations and support.

Travis used his talents to make these things for Harry Potter Day for the boys at school. It was on Halloween and they had a really great day.

Cute friends.

My friend Neil, in glasses is in need of a heart transplant. His body is breaking down. We had the best summer of 1998. It will always be etched in my mind. Here I am with my friends Kevin, Neil and Keri. My prayers are with Neil and his family.

More soccer...shocker.

More puppy...shocker

Triston letting Kedzie help him relax...shocker

Stop growing up. Guys, she is now taller than me. She is a beautiful, kind, talented, smart young woman who is having the best year of school! She worked so hard the last two years and it is finally paying off.  Here she is with Lucy and orchestra friends at the district orchestra concert. She loves playing the violin. It is so wonderful.
