The 4th of July is always a fun day at this house. Usually involves a movie, some shopping, good eats, a parade with the neighbor kids, face painting and fire works. This year kept up with tradition.
I did come home from camp a few days before the 4th, but I can't forget to
put this note from Kedzie in my blog.
"The Wellcome home speech" by Kedzie
Love her!
This year we had to have blue hair ALL day and we got to go to the movies with Grandma, Grandpa and Reggie. Oh such fun!
It did rain quite a bit, but that didn't stop the fireworks and our face painting and "parade" tradition with the Krause's! Such fun times for these kids.
Kedzie painted her own face using the mirror. Go ASU!!!
On the 1st of July, Kedzie was "released" from her boot! 14 weeks of casts, wheelchairs, crutches and boots. This girl can walk, bike and ride horses once again. She still has a bit of a limp, but that will disappear with time. So proud of her and her strength. What an example she was to me and to so many. Not once did she complain, other than making her wash her hair the first few days. Kedzie, you are tower of strength and a brave young lady. I'm proud of you and as I say those words, I know that Grandma Mary is so proud of who you are. Way to go girl!
