What a wonderful opportunity I had June 30-Jul 2 to gain a deeper love for 13 amazing 12-13 year old girls. Camp Batel 2014 rocked! Because I'm the 2nd Counselor in YW, I was the winner and got to be the camp leader. Thank goodness for Mitzi Brady who took care of all the fun/cute stuff while I took care of the details. It was a perfect two days. The girls were amazing and so fun. I love them more now than ever. The 1st years went to bed the first night singing primary songs and bearing testimonies while the 2nd years talked about boys! What a difference a year can make. I spent most of my time with the 2nd years because I was assigned to do so. However, these 13 girls are incredible "diamonds in the rough." I'm proud to know them and to serve them.
