and more catching up!

Holy Cow! I haven't blogged about Easter or Kedzie getting out of her cast and into a boot.  What else have I missed? It's all good, at least I can catch up. And thank you for photos that remind me what we've done!

We are busy and doing well, so that's the best part of it all.  We are still waiting to adopt Mr. T and we are wrapping up another great school year.  It's all just going so fast.

Easter was great.  Mr. T knew what to do this year and had fun gathering easter eggs and coloring them as well.  Together, we colored five dozen eggs.  Thanks Costco!

We have loved having spring. Tons of play time at parks and in our yard.  My boys crash at night and play hard all day long.  It's so fun to watch them be busy children!  We've even had our first water fight.  It was only about 55degrees, but the boys loved it and the hot bath they got afterwards.  We've even been on dandillion hunts and collected as many as we possibly could.  We also released our butterflies. What a fun spring tradition for us.

Kedzie went on a field trip to Dinosaur Ridge and loved it.  The next day got her cast off! What a wonderful feeling to be free from seven weeks of isolation! She now has a walking boot until June.  It will be a total of 13 weeks of restrain for that little leg.  She's made progress as we've gone along.  I think it will be hard for her to put weight on the leg without the boot, but I know she can do it.  She's proved her strength and amazing character as we've embarked on this journey.  What an amazing young lady she is.  I'm so grateful for her in my life.

We said goodbye to the wheelchair about a week later and it took a week to walk without crutches and only the boot, but she's done it.  Go Kedzie Go.  (That sounds like my mom!) We even went swimming and had dinner and cupcakes with the Krause's as our celebration!

The littles were studying bugs in preschool and we had the chance to go with friends to the Butterfly Pavilion.  They were so brave as they held Rosie the tarantula.  Alex had to hold my hand he was so nervous.  Mr. T wasn't afraid at all.  He even had some butterflies land in his hair!

Another soccer season has ended and each Saturday I left my boys games flying high.  They are so good and work so hard at soccer and love it so much.  It was my favorite part of the whole week.

Here are the tulips from Grandma Mary's garden.  I'm so grateful for them every year and I laugh that we were kinda grumpy about planting them.  We were just in denial that she was dying.  But, grateful we were obedient to her plan and request.  What a treasure.

The littles got to be big brothers last week to our friend Sadie. So fun to watch them play with her and talk to her and try to help her in all that she's doing.  I'm grateful they get to play with her every once in a while.

Now, you're caught up to last week.  Life is good.  We are truly blessed.
