Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day I had.  Travis took me to see the Broadway play "Once" and it was fabulous.  Kedzie made me bananas covered in brown sugar and a doughy roll for breakfast and I got lots of wonderful cards from my kids.  I missed my mom for a little bit, but if I just focus on me being the mom and not on her, then I can find joy in the day.  It sounds a little selfish, but I'd rather be happy with my children than sulking around all day because my mom's gone.  I think she'd like that too.  So, here are some of the beautiful cards I got from my beautiful children.  I'm truly blessed.

I do have to remember my mom however, on mother's day.  She was the best mom and grandma ever!
