It is a little difficult for me to even imagine Ethan being six years old! Where have the last six years gone? He was just born...I promise! Six years ago on February 7, 2007. Look at him now, a handsome, intelligent, funny, athletic, energetic, little dude. He has my heart with those big brown eyes and best smile and laugh around.
Over the last year, Ethan has conquered Disneyland. Continues to have orange as his favorite color. He can read and write and even spell some words. He has 21 good friends in his kindergarten class where his teacher says that as long as he motivates himself, he's a sponge and so intelligent! Ethan can ski and ride a bike without training wheels. He loves bey blades, transformers, the avengers and Mario.
Speaking of Mario, he's invited eight friends to his party on Friday, with a Mario theme. He's also come up with his own games. Pin the mustache on Mario. Pin the hair on Bowser, and a pinata! He's been diligent about the gift bags for his friends and he took colorful Mario themed cupcakes to school today.
Ethan still has to sleep with his blanket and a stuffed animal and I love that every night he makes sure that I put his blanket on and give him a huggie and a kissie. I love my Ethan. He is amazing at saying thank you about everything from taking him to the zoo to buying him a treat.
I also have to mention that Ethan has chosen to not drink soda for the past year, in order to get a video game! He does have motivation! He has reminded me time after time that he can't have soda when I offer it to him! He's a great kid. I love him.
