October shenanigans

Well, the boys went to school for six whole days before school shut down again. They went Thurs/Fri. Matthew went Mon/Tues. Triston was so awesome and walked Matthew to school on his first day. They are such good buddies. Love them.

Wiley and I after our walk waiting for soccer boys

Triplets? Sorta. Love these boys.

Kristy and Kedzie
Such a blessing in Kedzie's life to have the farm and friends to associate with

Kedzie and Ethan were able to volunteer for a fall festival at Giggling Life Camp. It is so good for them to be out there with friends and animals. Love it. As you can see in the background, this was the day the largest fire in Colorado history started up near Ft. Collins. The smoke was horrible for weeks and weeks.

The cutest soccer players ever. This is after T, B, Alex and Wyatt beat Real Edge by 9 points. It was an amazing game. They were on that day. Triston was a faithful fan.

Somehow during covid, Jill, Travis and I have started to have almost weekly family dinners! Sometimes with kids, sometimes without. Sometimes with restaurant food, sometimes homemade. Always filled with laughter and love. Neither of us have a lot of family around, so it's great that we can create our own traditions together! Usually I'm sitting and watching these two cook! I'm lucky to have them in my life.

Driving home from a patient watching a clear division in the sky. We had three severe fires in Colorado this summer/fall that effected thousands of people. They are now done, but they weren't out until snow fall in November.

This kid worked so hard reffing this season that he saved enough money to buy his very own switch! He was mature about it and thoughtful. It was awesome to witness. He worked hard and deserved a reward.

He also got a sty in his eye!

Triston, Trindon, Braylon and Matthew played some 3v3 basketball this fall and were amazing. They only lost to one team, twice! Everyone they played was bigger and taller and our short boys, Triston being tallest at 5'1", rocked the season. So fun to watch. They had to wear masks indoors and only a few spectators per team, but it was a great experience.

Alex decided to make some sugar cookies and did it 99% on his own. So fun to see him grow.

Lucky is full size now and needs to lose a few baby feathers but she's outside full time and doesn't seem to mind it. We spend hours with her in our backyard. She's nearing the time to head to the farm. Her mama loves her and we will miss her. She's an awesome duck.

Alex and his buddy Brennar made this robot outfit one day after school. Such creative little geniuses.

And then there's the time they are just silly and sword fighting with forks! Best of friends and brothers. We are blessed. They are blessed.

Millers are officially in Colorado once again! We took a drive one Sunday to go visit them.

More of October to come! The fun of Halloween!
