Soccer Season officially begins with the Rapids Classic Tournament this past weekend. Ethan reffed seven games to make candy money while Alex played really well as a defender. Their team as a whole didn't show up physically at the semi final game and lost, but they lost to the tournament winner. It was really sad to see them lose knowing that it was their tournament to lose. I worry that some of the boys aren't physically ready for this season, but it's beyond my control. I hope his team has fun and plays well, as there's more to life than winning soccer games. It's just hard to see it when you get so excited about something like Alex's team and their potential.
Ethan and Triston have a tournament over Labor which will be fun to watch. No spectators but we can watch from the parking lot or on FaceBook. It's great.
Jina was on the field and she took some great shots of Alex, Trindon and Braylon for us. Look at that goal attempt by Alex! So awesome.
In other Alex soccer news, he's been selected to train with some of the Elite soccer players once a month beginning next week. He and I are so pumped and humbled that he has been given this opportunity. Can't wait to see what it does for his confidence and soccer skills. Love watching him play.
Matthew turned twelve and had an awesome party for his crew. Look at how cute these kids are. I love each of them and love their friendship and the fun they have when they are together. Happy birthday Matthew! Love you since the day you were born.
