School began on 8/27/20 and I almost forgot to post about it! It's lame and long and lame and I'm not sure the kids are really learning anything, but they are online every day! On a computer screen from 7:45-3:15 for Kedzie and 9-4:15 for the boys. It's hard and Wednesday's are asynchronous and even harder. But, they are successfully doing what they've been asked to do.
Fortunately, they will all be in a hybrid setting beginning 10/1, but that just means they'll only go back to school twice a week, with one day online and two days on their own learning. It might be the best and the worst, but I'm eager for them to go back to school to be with friends and teachers. I hope the year isn't a total bust.
Covid-19 continues to show it's ugly head in large gathering. These kids will be in masks and hopefully not spread the disease to those more mature than them in the schools. I keep thinking we are more normal, until I remember when we aren't. But, we really are doing just fine. I really can't complain a whole lot, until I can!!!
Way to go Ravsten kids! Way to be tough and way to not fight me and dad about doing school work. Way to make it happen. Even you Ethan, I won't tell anyone that you're on video games when you should be listening to language arts. Secrets safe with me, until it's not!
