We go on regular dates, travis and I! Like for Mother's day, we got Olive Garden and then we eat in a parking lot because dining rooms are closed! We don't mind it one bit. For Mother's day, I got shoes and treats, but look at the best gift I got. My kids on a big canvas at Utah State! It's now hanging in our laundry room with pride. I love my family. Go Aggies! We also went on a nice walk at Adams County Fair Grounds and had a good time messing around. I'm grateful to be the mom of the five kids that are in my life right now. I'm so blessed.
Alex got bored enough one day to play the piano again and he was great. I hope he'll play it again some day. As of today, it was a one and done, but I can hope.
Our nightly walks have been pretty fun with these boys.
Coseth officially graduated from high school! Well, it'll be really official when she gets home, but she's done! We had fun taking pictures and celebrating her. Proud of her and how she's handled the sadness of Corona. But, she did it. She completed her year of school, in English and did an amazing job. Yeah Coseth! Congrats.
This girl finished her freshman year by obtaining a 4.0 gpa! Couldn't be more ecstatic. She's amazing and didn't quit with math. She worked hard during Corona to raise two grades from B's to A's and she did it! I never got a 4.0 and she did, her freshman year. Yeah. Moving on up to Sophomore year.
This kid has done so amazingly well in quarantine. We have grown closer and stronger. He is healthy and happy most of the time. He'd still rather be an only child, but tough! He'll be a big 8th grader next year and this year, his teacher LoVeD him so much. I get it! He's pretty lovable. So proud of him and how he ended his year as well...he did have a few fainting spells, that we now get to go to children's for, but his heart is healthy, he was standing up too quickly and his heart will be examined more closely next week. We aren't worried and we've been told not to worry. So grateful for modern medicine.
"The Squad" social distancing at it's finest. Big dorks. But, they had fun watching or trying to watch a movie outside on the big screen. It ended with tag and running all over the back yard, but grateful for these boys and their influence on Ravi.
In Covid-19 news, the US is the hardest hit nation on earth of reported deaths. These are the names of those who've lost their lives. It's sad and hard to understand.
Kedzie made us some USU masks, and you can't find clorox wipes anywhere, so you get to make your own with a bottle of clorox that will last for years!
We finally purchased a trampoline. We received it today! Putting it up tonight. This is a miracle people. The kids wanted a tramp or a puppy! Lucky ducks. Can't wait to play on it.
Love this silly girl
Celebrated Memorial Day this year by honoring those who've passed on without me. I did forget to add Vickie and Neil because my brain was numb. But, I'm grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. I'm blessed.
This kid is growing so much and sooooo fast. He's sleeping more, grumpier, hungrier and taller. I addition, he stinks, has hairy arm pits and his voice is cracking and lower. Oh my word it is a miracle that he's a part of our family. He belongs here. We love him. He adds so much. We couldn't be prouder of all the effort he puts into his life. Here he is waiting patiently for the sun to go down so we can watch a movie outside!
