The one thing I knew for sure when we learned Coseth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was that we needed to get her to Conference. We were fortunate enough to get two tickets to Women's conference and seven tickets to Sunday morning's session. Kathy and Reggie came to SLC and stayed at the same hotel we were at, so we all hung out together on Saturday and went to conference together on Sunday. It was special. We stayed at the Hyatt Place near the airport and went to "This is the Place" monument and park Saturday morning. We learned a bit about what it was like to be a pioneer and settle the valley. Ethan even said it was fun! Writing that down for our records. After "pioneering" we went to lunch and had the largest pizza ever at the Pie near the UofU. Afterwards, we toured Temple Square and then got the girls dressed and sent them to women's conference. It was the best session ever as they learned about many of the new changes in Young Women. What lucky girls to be there.
Sunday morning, we went to conference and heard from Elder Uchdorf and President Nelson and many special speakers in between. All the boys and maybe their mom took small naps during the 2 1/2 hours, but it was totally worth it to be there and to have Coseth listen to the prophet...in person.
We drove our Friday at 4pm and we were home by Sunday around 7pm (a quick stop in Park City). For some reason, long car rides and adventures like this bring our family a little closer together. It was a great experience.
