Events worth noting...

Just a few photos to share.

Triston has now had his first experience with racism when a friend called him the N word at school. He handled it remarkably well and we are talking with the principal and teacher and asking them to help the students understand how to talk to people of different races and ethnicities. It's been a great learning experience for us. And, I thought this note from his teacher was pretty special.

I'm almost 45 and I need some reading glasses and I need to make the font bigger on my phone!
done and done

No school day means friend day which means we went to DEFY to burn lots of energy.

Coseth's first pumpkin carving experience. She and Kedzie did a great job!

Ethan's project that failed in tech ed and his teacher was so proud that it failed! Such an amazing teacher and wonderful experience for Ethan.

First snowfall of fall

A moment in time. The boys were playing...together...kindly...like children...laughing...being silly...

Triplets...homecoming dress shopping!

Coseth's eye exam. They don't have these machines in Ecuador. Her eyes were much worse than her glasses were meant for, so she's getting new glasses!

Coseth and Kedzie and many of the other international students participated in an all day leadership conference where they learned about leadership and then had fun at xtreme challenge. Grateful Coseth will allow Kedzie to join her on some of her adventures with the other students. They are both learning and growing together. So proud of them.

And then there's Wiley!
