Kedzie girl

Kedzie is almost done with her tenure at Rocky Top Middle School. Three years of growth and development. Three years of learning to be organized and study. Three years of dealing with middle school drama. Three years of orchestra. Three years of learning how to grow up.  Three years to get taller than her mama!

Today, was the icing on the cake for her. She was named student of the month for April due to her trait of being productive. In case you can't read what her teacher had to say about her, I'm going to type it up. We all were invited to have breakfast at the school and celebrate the kids that were given awards. We all went of course. This was three years in the making. So proud of her for never giving up during all the hard times.

I'm so excited to nominate Kedzie for the Student of the Month Award! For the past three years, Kedzie has been a proactive member of the Rocky Top Orchestra, and she has also been a leader in mentoring the younger students in orchestra club. Last month, Kedzie prepared a violin solo and volunteered to come play for the beginning 6th grade orchestra as an outreach to the younger students. As her teacher, it is amazing to see how she inspires and encourages others on a regular basis. Kedzie, I am so happy that I got to be your orchestra teacher, and I know that you will accomplish great things next year in high school and beyond! Ms. Crowell.
