February was a quick month due to two fantastic birthdays and our vacation to Florida, but a report on that fun will be in my next few posts. We survived one major snow storm, if that, played with the dog, went to school, volunteered, Kedzie swam, boys did indoor XR soccer weekly, basketball and everyone continues with piano lessons! I've even figured out if I pay Ethan $10 per month, he'll let me teach him to play. Win-win. So, here are some photo worthy moments of the month!
I had the sweet privilege of working with these wonderful women in the Trailwinds Ward Relief Society Presidency from April 2017-Feb 2018. Ellen, Judy, Jenny and myself. I was the 2nd counselor. Ellen moved and I was called to be the visiting teaching coordinator. Bitter-sweet change of course. I love being in the presidency and teaching, but I didn't like planning monthly activities. In my new calling, I'm able to make connections with almost all the women in the ward and it keeps me rather busy. But, I'm blessed to have served with these women.
Bonus of having Triston's friend be his teacher at school is that I get cute pictures of him at school and on field trips! Love it.
Then, because Erin goes on all the field trips due to Matthew's diabetes, I get cute pictures like this...besties forever!
Triston under arrest and acting Mayor...all in the same day. The boys loved their field trip to the city building!
Ethan has really connected with his friends at school this year and they are good boys. I'm so grateful. He also likes girls! Anyway, caught this moment with Luke, Ethan and Garret at an assembly. Love it!
Rainbow Unicorns all received some socks! Could they be any cuter?! Matthew's a great model.
Ethan got these indoor shoes, retailing at $150 for $25 through soccer.com mystery bag. I feel like we got a pretty great deal.
Stake Basketball Champs! So grateful Kedzie has amazing YW leaders and Young Women to be around. And although she isn't great at basketball, she is given the opportunity to play and increase her skills. She had a lot of fun!
And, she's a dork! Love her.
Trailwinds Young Women at New Beginnings this year. Kedzie is Beehive President and introduced the incoming beehives. She's growing up! Amazing what a difference a year makes.
