And we have a teenager

We have a teenager! Happy 13th birthday Kedzie. I can't believe how our lives have changed in 13 years. Its quite remarkable.
We got lucky this year with birthday party requests.  Kedzie simply wanted her closest friends to come over for chipotle, cake and a movie.  She invited Lindie, Lucy and Amber.  Sweetest girls ever.
Grandma and Reggie were here and Kedzie invited us to have Chic-Fil-A with her at school. Social Suicide! But it didn't effect her one bit. Her friends were happy to have us there and we only got one weird look from a 7th grader!
Kedzie is becoming so in tune to the emotions of others.  I appreciate it so much when she can recognize something isn't right with someone and she reaches out to help them.  Kedzie still hates math and it shows every night during homework. She has loved orchestra (violin), tech ed, art and family consumer science in school this year. She is committed to piano, reading, swimming and she loved participating in the play Madagasgar Jr. this winter. She continues to be beehive class president and is gaining a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  She is learning to love the Personal Progress Program.  She has wonderful teachers and leaders surrounding her and loving her for who she is.
Kedzie is a wonderful daughter who is learning that it's great to be the only girl in the family. She is currently 5'5" and 100lbs. She's got one inch to go to be my height and we won't mention the weight. LOL. She continues to love animals, little kids (she babysits a lot) and doing anything social. I'm so grateful that Travis and I have the opportunity to be her parents.  Happy teenage years sweet Kedzie!
