Another school year has come to an end! It's so hard to believe how quickly a year goes when you are dealing with four children. It's bitter sweet, as usual. I love to see them learn and grow and yet it's hard to realize that they don't need me as much. Parenting growing pains!
This year of 4th and 2nd grade turned out awesome for the boys. They truly made huge progress in learning. I'm so proud of them and all their commitment and hard work. I'm grateful to their teacher, Mrs. Vahling, Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Nienaber for loving my kids and being such great teachers. I can volunteer for one hour and I'm done. They are with these kids eight hours a day, five days a week. I'm so grateful for teachers.
Ethan had a Greek Mythology unit throughout the month of May and is now hooked. He is reading Percy Jackson and anything else related to Greek Mythology. I love it when something clicks. He even created his own card game for the class. He's awesome.
Kedzie completed her first year of middle school with class and dignity. It was a super hard year with math and friends, but she did it! She's excited for summer. She also had two dance recitals, with two different studios and three dances. She was amazing in all three. She really made progress in tap this year. It was so awesome to witness. She has since decided to retire from Premier and move onto swimming and one contemporary class at AF. It was a hard decision, but great decision for her to make. She was so relieved when she found the right fit for herself.
Another year of school and dance are complete. My kids did it in style and strength. They relied on the right people and tended to make the right decisions. I'm so proud of their hard work and I love them all so much. I'm truly blessed to have a front row seat in their lives.
