Winter, early spring action

We've been content since our trip to California.  Nothing too wild and crazy has happened for good or evil and that is a blessing in and of itself.  Here are some photo worthy moments from February to April! Go team Ravsten!

Kedzie, now in Young Women was invited to her first New Beginnings night at church and was introduced with all the 2017 beehives.  Such a wonderful bunch of girls.

This face...I don't need to say much more.  Ethan is wonderful.

Kedzie loves to get ahold of anyone's phone and take selfies.  This was one of 99 :)
The boys ended a wonderful indoor season with Coach Brian. It was amazing to have them all three play together.  They went undefeated against three other U10 teams over eight weeks.  Best night of the week...watching them do something they love and do it well.  So proud of them. Now we move onto a new club for all the boys.  Good bye red, hello blue Storm.

All four kids in a dentist chair at one time.  Sweet! Plus, no cavities.

Bergen and Ethan...soccer buddies since age 3.  They were able to do winter XR training together and loved the time they spent together each week.  These are two good boys.

I love snuggling with my Wiley, incase you didn't know.
And he loves going with me and waiting for all the kids to come out of school.  He drives them to and from school everyday and is offended if I can't take him with me for some reason.  He's a good dog.

Kedzie played young women basketball and enjoyed herself immensely.  We were so proud of her and grateful for the opportunity she had to play ball.

Ethan played with a great group of boys for winter basketball this year.  He just gets better and better with each practice and game and is determined to play competitive as some point.

Now, these boys (Triston & Matthew were at a party) were pretty incredible.  Blowing other teams away by 20-40 points each game.  They'll probably play up a year next fall and continue to grow as a team and individual basketball players.  Grateful for good coaches.

Rapids season opener! Took the two oldest and enjoyed my 4th row, season ticket, birthday gift.  We are so close to the field and the action.  We met up with the Simms and traded boys for girls and everyone had a fantastic night together.  Go Rapids!

Tired puppy!

The boys fit in the pulpit in the primary room! Their favorite hiding place.

Ethan's on a new team with a new soccer club.  He's a part of Storm, team Peru and they are doing remarkably well for being a newly formed team.  They took players from the other U10 teams and made a team with a few new kids to the club.  This past weekend, they beat one of the better teams
5-2.  They really are coming along nicely.  It's been a tough, but mostly positive transition for him.

Remember that time Travis was stressed and backed into a truck that was parked right behind him? Yeah, I do.  HE was so mad and Kedzie was freaking out, but nothing worse happened than a beat up back side.  They were lucky!

Our ward split in half in April and this is a picture of Alex and his classmates at church before the split.  They only lost two boys.  But, this is a good group of kids. He's lucky to have them.

Ethan was Enos Mills, a founder of Rocky Mountain National Park, at his Colorado History Wax museum night.  He looked pretty dapper.

Ethan, Jackson and Jada...friends for a really long time!

Ethan laughing with his buddies at school.

Four of us just had to get in a final day of skiing so we headed up over spring break in March and had a wonderful day.  Everyone improved so much and we only went three times this year.  Each time was a treasure for me as it is something we love doing together.  It was a great day.

Alex and Triston are finally on the same soccer team through Storm and have a pretty remarkable coach in Alfonso.  Grateful to have him teach them to love and play the game.  It's been another great season for these boys.  It will continue into the summer of course where they'll play in a tournament in Steamboat.  The boys just get better with each game and practice.  It's fun to watch.

The final Baptistry session for the youth of the Cherrywood Ward.  Now, they are split into the Quail Valley and Trail Winds ward.  Glad Kedzie has such a great group of member friends to guide her through her youth.

Round 2 has begun! And now we have 2.5 in braces.  Triston is nearing the end of phase I and Ethan has a lower spacer in his mouth.  Alex is a little jealous of everyone! Anyway, Kedzie is seeing Dr. Bohman now and is determined to have a beautiful smile!

I'm not the only family member that loves Wiley.  Hint, everyone does!

These crazy boys in REI. Don't turn your back on them....ever.

Spring Break trip to the movie theater to see Beauty and the Beast with the Dorsett's.  A fun adventure for all.  Triston was excited to sit with Hanna.

Alex invited his friend Colton over and of course they had to play a few video games.  This picture was too good to pass up.

Life continues to run fairly smoothly with minor glitches and successes.  We are doing well and continue to live in the best way possible.  We are far from perfect, but we strive to do our best.  We have many blessings and try to count each one regularly.
