Camping with friends is so much fun. I think this is our fourth trip with the Gibson's and Busch's, second with the Thornton's joining us and we missed the Holland's this year. Anyway, we drove four hours south to the Great Sand Dunes! Who knew it was a National Park? I didn't. What a pleasant surprise. Sand Dunes surrounded by Rocky Mountains with a 14'er in the background. We played in water, we went sledding, we played in sand and suffice it to say, I'm still finding sand all over the place, two weeks later! We had a great time. And as per tradition, it rained on us! Although only for 30 minutes as opposed to all weekend, but it just had to rain. We expected nothing less.
