Kedzie worked for seven Thursdays to memorize her lines and her cues to be both Treville and Mosqueton in Backstory Theater's production of the Three Musketeers. The show was five days after her accident. Even in tremendous pain at the hospital, she planned to have a black cast so that it would look like a boot for the show! She was committed and followed through!
Although she was tired and in a bit of pain, she had a great performance. She remembered all her lines and had a smile on her face. She had an accent as Treville and sounded very British! She had an adult helper through some of the play that got her to her spots and other than that, she was independent and a super star! We are so proud of her. Her family and her friend Gianna and Jackson and Betsy came to watch the show. It was awesome.
Just as a side note, Kedzie had a leg cast and another girl had wraps around her arms after her shower glass door fell in on her and cut her arms up. This cast had challenges and they pulled together and created an amazing show. So proud of Kedzie and her commitment to her performance.
