Kedzie's baptism

What a special day for our sweet, Kedzie Nicole Ravsten.  She was baptized by her dad, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It was a service that was filled with love.  It was nothing short of perfect!  I'm so grateful for the day and the memories that we will cherish forever.

Thank you Kedzie for making the choice to be baptized.  You are an amazing, strong,
loving, wonderful young lady.
I'm grateful to be your mom.
Kedzie was baptized with two of her friends, Madison and Alta.  This made for a very full congregation.  People filled every bench in the chapel.  It was outstanding!  Kedzie personally invited about forty families from the ward and some of our extended family members and various friends.  Among those people, she invited nine non-member families and six of them came.  She is an amazing missionary already.  It was a great service to share what we believe.

Some special people that came to the baptism were: Thelma, Mrs. Nienaber, Nuf Said'ers, Jen and Tarra of the clappers, Karen, Grandma, Grandpa and Reggie, Grandma Wood, and a lot of our ward friends. We are truly blessed with so much love from people in our lives.  It's wonderful.

Just before the service, we had to grab a quick picture.
Yes, the water wasn't pretty, but it was warm!

Proud parents!

No, I didn't get a picture of them in their pretty dresses, just their wet towels!

Her necklace from me, her earrings were Grandma Mary's and the
dress is from Grandma and Grandpa Ravsten.

Here are some special pictures of Kedzie with her loved ones.

Of course after the baptism we had to have some lunch and Kedzie chose Chipotle!
There were thirteen of us there to eat.  We filled up half the restaurant practically.

Then, Kedzie wanted to go shopping with the girls.
So, we headed to Claire's where we had some fun!

As you can see, she left Claire's with some prized possessions!

We sent Travis with the boys to the park of course!
They had a great time running and playing in the  60 degree weather.

As I stated, the day was practically perfect.
We thought of Grandma Mary a number of times and felt joy.
We felt loved and cared for by family and friends.
We were truly blessed with a beautiful day.

Congratulations Kedzie on becoming one of the newest members of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Couldn't be prouder kiddo!  Love you.  Mom :)

Sorry to hear about her back. That is no fun. Good thing she has a wonderful intelligent mother to help her through this journey.
