Oh the DRAMA!

So, we found classes that my kids love!  The classes are through "Backstory Theater." Ethan went every Tuesday this summer and Kedzie just finished up a week long theater camp.  They both want to do it again.  I think we'll give it a try!  My kids and drama go hand in hand!
The last day of Ethan's class was a "show" for the parents.

They did a bunch of acting warm ups and then their teacher
read them a book after which they would act out.

Ethan was a monkey.  They clearly got to select their own
costumes from a lot of costume boxes and improved their
way through the story.  It was so great.

Then Miss Kedzie went every day last week, three hours a day
with her friends Allison and Kailee to learn her own acting skills.

Here she is with Christopher Robin.  She was
Kanga in the production of Friday night of
"Adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood."

Here she is with Roo.  Who not to mention,
would not fit in Kanga's pouch!

Kanga and her teacher Miss Emily

The Cast

Miss Kanga herself.  It was about a 30 minute play
that I thought was amazing.  It was amazing because
in five days these 5-7 year olds learned enough to
pull off a fabulous production.

It has been a fun adventure for my kids this summer.  We're so grateful for the opportunities that our community provides for my kids to learn and grow.  It's oh so fun to watch them!

Glad to see you second camping adventure went so well. I think my kids are definitely deprived. We have never taken them camping.

Looks like fun, I think we should try it.
