Summer time!

Just wanted to post that picture and update on our summer life.  We have been super busy and happy about it.  We've had swimming lessons every day for two weeks.  My kids have made wonderful strides in the pool.  I Kedzie is working on the butterfly and back float and Ethan is finally willing to stick his head in the water and blow bubbles without prodding! 

Ethan was in a month long soccer class last month and will be doing football this month through a local rec center and both kids are taking two classes together.  A theater class which they love and a hip hop class.  I figure...why not keep them busy and happy?  I'm happier with busy too.  Alex and I just hang out and have some good time together.  He is busy sliding down slides all by himself and eating me out of house and home, as long as it's a carb!  What a kid.  

We've been to Elitches and Lagoon, swimming and to parks, friends houses, the library, watched moves, gone to dad's work, we started horse lessons again this week and we have another month and half to get more done before school begins for both kids in mid-August.  So, we'd better get busy being busy!

I just have to say that I'm so grateful for my life and the blessings that I've been given.  I'm grateful for my trials, because they are my own and I can handle them.  Anyway, that's a bit of a tangent. 

As a side note, my mom is doing great and is now having radiation daily for six weeks.  She's a trooper and such an example to me and many others.  We're grateful for her health and for the time she has with us right now.  She's awesome.
