So, tomorrow I leave my kids for the very first time in their lives for four days of girls camp! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. My wonderful in-laws are coming today to watch the kids for us while Travis works. What a blessing to have them come and help. I just hope Ethan doesn't scream too much. But, there are friends on call in case of a needed break. I think everything is covered. I'm not really worried about it. You know, it's just my first time without them. Kedzie is rather excited about it, so I'm glad for that.
So, I'll be smelly, dirty and tired upon my return on Friday. I may even be talking like a middle schooler! "Totally cool." (wait, that is from the 80's. I've got some work to do!) I'm working with the second years girls. So, it should be an adventure. I haven't been to girls camp, since I was a girl at girls camp!
Anyway, bon voyage. I'm off to the Colorado Mountains to enjoy some fresh mountain air, strengthen my Testimony of the Savior, and gain a greater appreciation for my family. It's going to be great.
