Eldorado State Park

So, thanks to our friends Chelsea and Dana, our family is making an attempt to "get out" in Colorado and see things that are beautiful and close to home.  Here's our first adventure.  Eldorado State Park.  Twenty minutes from home and a beautiful, easy hike for the kids, as well as Travis and I!  There was a beautiful creek nearby and we were able to watch skilled mountain climbers scale crazy walls of rock!  Ethan had to ride on our shoulders or be carried because each time we put him down, he'd run in the opposite direction.  Not a surprise is it?!  We all had a great time in the beautiful mountains that God created for us to enjoy.  Look for additional outdoor adventures to come!

How fun, don't you just love stuff like this. Steve and I are huge national park junkies...yes it's kind of nerdy but I think everyone should appreciate the outdoors more especially when it's just in your back yard.

So glad you are getting out! Kids love to be in the outdoors. So lucky to have such beautiful surroundings around where you live. Hope you continue to enjoy your summer!

You will have to fill me in on your adventures. Being from here, I forget all the amazing things there are to see. I take it all for granted! No more!
