Parting is such sweet sorrow! I felt it as I said good-bye and it's only for 16 days. I love this kid so much. I'm so proud of who is he becoming. He is fun and smart and kind and loving. It was a bit hard for him to leave his friends and to think about only having a year left of school here, but the photos of his time in Tonga have been priceless. My heart is full as I see the joy on his face. He is loving the land of Tonga, the group of people he's with and the work and experiences he is having. I can't wait to hear all the details of his adventures. We have seen hundreds of photos and video clips of him over the last week and he has one week left! It's a blessing to be his mom.

8 different states: Utah, California, Colorado, Texas, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington and Arizona
Four kids, three boys and one girl from Colorado.
Our dear friends, Jen and Bert Bair (Jen was my roomie at Fairfax) ironically signed Bert up as a parent and their wonderful son Grant as a builder for this same trip!
The youth leader Parker is an Aggie!
These are just some of the things I know.
I'm so eager to see how this experience has changed Ethan's life for the better. But, for the record, the sell Red Bull in Tonga, so he still had his caffeine fix. SMH! lol.
