The year has flown by. We've had so many good and hard experiences. But when I look back I realize how much we are learning and growing and we are all better for everything we've experienced.
Ethan has decided that he wants to go on an HXP trip this summer. He's going to Tonga! He want's to play in the ocean and they'll be working on building a house while there. I can't wait for the adventures he's going to have next summer.

Oh my son and his friends are crazy. They made sugar cookies one night and a few of them were boy parts! What's that all about? I'll never understand. Laurie is so patient and kind to have these teenage boys around so much.
Oh Ethan and his buddies are annoying and amazing! Laurie is their amazing second mom and they just are living their best lives. I get proof from photos every once in a while! When I "pay" for them with tacos or screen time! They've especially had fun over winter break together.
They had a Christmas party this year at Laurie's and did secret santa gifts. Laurie made them a delicious meal and they all dressed up for the evening. She gave them cups with their names on them too. They are seriously there all the time!
I gave them the socks because they all love eggo waffles, at Laurie's of course.

Twelve days of Christmas has been fun again this year. These three enjoyed decorating gingerbread houses. So grateful for Grandma and Reggie who put so much love and thought into twelve days of Christmas for us. It's a special tradition.

Aubree carried her Christmas bread and our Christmas card around with her all day according to her mom, after we delivered her some yummy Christmas bread.
