Celebrating Christmas

Merry Christmas 2023

I forced a lot of family fun and everyone went along with it most of the time. I mean, look at those cute, smiling faces! I love them. I love them. I love them.

We believe in Santa and the Magic of Christmas! Or no gifts.

We have made a tradition now of going to Red Lobster on Christmas Eve. Lots of yummy sea food that everyone can enjoy. We joked about having four more kids over the next 20 years until Travis retires. No one thought that was funny at all. Although we laughed a lot!

Traditional Christmas pictures in front of the tree!
Christmas Eve was on a Sunday so we went to church and then came home and played lots of silly games. Ethan called it a "pintrest Christmas party." I informed him that it was in fact an "Instagram inspired Christmas party."

Christmas PJ's this year included silly t-shirts and underwear for the boys.

Ethan thinks and is so strong! lol

I think my favorite thing is Secret Santa. It makes everyone so happy to get such a fun/personal gift.

PJ pants with Phoebe's and Wiley's faces from Kedzie

A mirror from me so he can flex in his own room!

T-shirt from Ethan

Lotto tickets and a mixer thing from Triston

Stuffies from Nightmare Before Christmas from Travis
And I didn't get my own picture of me with licorice and the book "there are worse parents than you" from Alex. It was hysterical

Christmas morning started around 6:30am. I think Triston woke at 3:30 and then woke up Alex at 4:30 who then sprayed water at Kedzie at 5:30 and then they work the rest of us up at 6:30.

Kedzie passed out all our gifts this year.

She got a lot of plant things.

Cute puppy with Travis

Ethan and I took a nap for a while after opening gifts.

Let the crafts and Legos begin

Legos

In the afternoon, we headed over to the Bradford's. We had a great time all afternoon. Ate breakfast and lots of bacon, played some games and just enjoyed being with our good friends.

It was a lovely Christmas this year. I love our tree. I love seeing people happy with their gifts. I love how happy Travis is during the season. We made so much bread for friends and opened so many gifts. I'm so grateful for the season as we remember the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
