April, April, April

April began pretty sweet when Kedzie was awarded a Leadership Scholarship from Chick-fil-A. We are so grateful for her job there and for the love Barrie and the entire crew at CFA show to Kedzie. Congrats Kedzie on being a leader at your job.

The boys and Travis and I went to our first game of the season. The boys were hilarious together.

Lazin around with Wiley!

We had dinner with some USU employees and they brought these two USU hats as a congrats to Kedzie and an enticement for Ethan. So thoughtful.

Wiley was in quarantine for ten days for biting Ethan's friend Riley. Naughty, naughty puppy. Now he gets a leash on whenever anyone comes in the house. So sad for everyone.

Carol Godfrey was my mom's best friend through nursing school, marriage, separations, divorce, death, daughters, teenagers, old nurses, cats, tea parties, painting and until the die my mom died. Carol passed away on the 1st of April. Lisa and Natalie had just arrived in Hawaii. Natalie told me that two birds came to visit her and all she could think of was Carol and Mary Ann...together again. I'm so blessed to have had Carol's laugh, love and example in my life. I'm even a case manager just like she was! She will be missed by her family, but I'm so happy for her to be with those she's lost and to have the knowledge that families are together forever and that she will be able to help her family more now from the other side of the veil.

Kedzie is full on into creating a cosplay costume for an anime character named Zoro. Three Katana's later and a wig and earring. All she has left are the shirt and pants. She is so creative and talented. I hope she can find a place to continue to explore this gift she has.
Side note: Kedzie has her roommates for USU and has registered for classes! Eek.

Easter was beautiful this year. This scripture repeated in my head over and over all day long.

Forced family egg hunt! They laughed and had fun even if they're old farts!

The dogs were even into it!

The bunny came to visit us at work!

In other news, Stem Lab and Rocky Top made it to the finals in basetball. Triston wasn't able to keep playing because of the high number of players, but Alex was. It was fun to watch them in the semi's and finals. They took 2nd to Thunder Vista. Rocky Top took 1st to West Lake. It was so great to have middle school basketball back. Grateful my kids could experience it for one season.

Love #10

Rocky Top

Stem had a parade around the school to celebrate the team.

Triston all dapper at the dance with some of his buddies!

Noah Arter and I for our selfie every few years!

This kid is working so hard and growing and he's tired. He takes a lot of naps in the car these days. This was on the way to a game on Saturday. He and Oliver are killing it in the back. He is trying to get his strength back from two twisted ankles and injured shoulder, but with PT and his own personal will, he's making a great come back. He's a beast out there on the pitch.
