March madness for sure

The beginning of March marked the last travel games for Alex for this season. I got to be a chaperone with Gary. We survived! These boys are 13-14 and were great for us. They learned some hard lessons after a couple of them had girls in their rooms during their last trip, so they were on their best behavior for us. So funny and fun. Glad I got to know the boys a little better. We supported the U19's, played some shirt vs skin football with apples, played some corn hole, ate a lot; hourly, didn't lose anyone, saw all the graduating ECNL boys get a fun send off and came away with two ties in sunny Arizona.

Ethan had his wrestling banquet. It was pretty great. He was awarded the Come Back Player of the year after his broken arm last year. So grateful for this sport and what it's done for Ethan.

The boys had their night at Horizon where they toured and signed up for sports and clubs! It's hard to believe they will be Freshman in just a few months. Ugh. It's hard for me internally.

Spring makes Phoebe and everyone else so happy. Sticks are pretty great too.

Love a great picture of Reggie at work!

Triston finally played in a basketball game at Rocky Top. Yes, that's all the 8th graders. I finally understand why they cut no one. It was amazing to watch the boys on the last team have an opportunity to play for their school. Triston did great. He gets to play only about eight minutes, but he shine when he's on the court. Love it.

Alex and their team continue to have fun playing as well.

Someone's having a bit of an attitude!

Ms Kedzie cut her hair and we love it! It was so refreshing and joyful for her.

Ethan has had a wonderful season at Loveland. It comes to an end today as he's having his plate removed from his broken arm next week. So, he's so sad the season is over. He loves these boys and the chance they have to play in the snow every week. I think it might wear them out a bit! lol

Kedzie's winter concert had some Star Wars characters visit. Their last song was the theme song.

Kedzie and Symphonic Orchestra played at a festival in Parker and got great scores.

Love getting pictures of Alex playing soccer, in action!

And then he comes home sometimes and crashes!

It's official...

She went to visit Lucky this week! Still alive and well.

We went to the prom dress sell again this year. Isn't it beautiful on her?! It's all going so fast.

She loves anime and she loves drawing. It comes together beautifully!

More children were killed in Tennessee in a school shooting. It's devastating.

March 30, Ethan chose to have one of the plates and screws removed from his arm. We were all nervous, but the surgery went perfectly and he is healing nicely and quickly. Hoping no more pain when he wrestles and lifts.

His new hardware or jewelry?!

His old scar. I'll post a pic of the new scar soon.

He zonked out on the drive home.

Kedzie had her last day at Stem Lab with Jina and her kindergarten class. What an amazing experience for her. She's going to be a fabulous teacher. This is experience was priceless.

We are closer and closer to graduation!
