End of June fun...while Kedzie is gone

We made it home the day before Alex had an amazing experience to play soccer against a team from Oregon. They lost by one, but he was a part of the Academy Futures team and had a great game. It's so fun to watch him play soccer and at a higher level. So happy for him to have this chance of a life time. The Futures program was so exciting for him. We are hopeful that he can play for them again this next year. Go Rapids.

These four boys have a lot of fun together! They don't look happy right now, but they were chilling watching a movie.

Our girl left for Kenya on the 22nd of June! She had to practice putting her suitcase in the overhead bin and she could do it! She'll post some of her adventures in the near future.

The night Kedzie left, we officially met the McGrath family. Rachel is Triston's paternal cousin. Her husband is Aaron and their daughter is Lulu. We had dinner together the first night, went to the zoo together the next day and then had them over for a while the final day. They live in Springfield and drove out just to meet us, particularly Triston! How awesome to have biological family. They are so kind and nice. We had a good time with them.

Alex has been swimming on the frogs swim team this summer when available. He's enjoyed it and hopefully will be able to swim with them again next summer.

Sweet dreams!

They look like miniature missionaries!

Alex finally got to go to the Temple and do baptisms for the dead and we asked Matthew to join us. Super special night for all. Everyone needs a bestie to go to the Temple with them. We had subway and laughed and felt the spirit. Alex said he felt calm while he was in the temple. It was great.

Reggie received the "Citizen of the Year" for Clarkston! He couldn't have been more surprised or happy about it. Tons of family was there to witness the event. it was super special and well deserved. Grateful for the photos

We've played quite a few 3v3 tournaments this summer. The best game was between Alex and Triston's teams. It is fun to watch my boys do something they love.

The boys are so active. Twice a week, they run track at the middle school with tons of their friends. Triston ran in one track meet and took second.

Monday nights they work on finishing with Nick and Tuesday nights they do conditioning with Kristin. They work hard.

Wednesday nights, the Ravsten's, Gunn's, Bradford's and Kaiden play 5v5 in Broomfield. A tradition over the years that they look forward to each summer.

I LoVE Travis!!!

She loves getting in her crate at night and then she is out. Found her like this one night. She loves rubs on that tummy.

Loving their lives!

We tried a new thing this summer.  5-3-1. Both boys played with teammates. You play one team in a 5v5, then 3v3 and finally 1v1 and winner gets points. Alex's team won their age group and Triston's team gave everyone a run for their money. It was so exciting to watch.

Celebrated a long day with ice cream

And this dude, bought his own computer! A Mac mini. Pays to work doesn't it?! He was thrilled with his purchase and loves his computer and time he has to game. Proud of his work efforts.
