Day 19 to Day 44 of our Lucky Giant Ducky

Gone are her days of napping and being in the house. As of about a week ago, Lucky made it to her house and successfully spent the night alone, with a heating pad. She doesn't mind it. She is excited to wake up in the morning and eat and be with her family. I probably spend a good two hours with her randomly, outside, throughout the day. She is a social duck who likes to be around us. She isn't a smuggler so much anymore and she has more appropriate fears. We are going to introduce her to the ducks on the farm this week and hope that she can find some happiness there. Kedzie and I are sad. I'm sure the boys are too. We've enjoyed having a duck around. Such a new adventure. There are plans, I hear, to hatch more in the spring. We shall see.  Here's to Lucky, our growing awesome ducky.
