I'm grateful for November and December because there are more opportunities to serve out there. We helped food for hope with their feed 5000 project. Providing Thanksgiving meals to Adams county children and families. We filled the boxes with the youth one night and then on a Sunday afternoon, some YW joined our family as we delivered the boxes to families in housing who were recently homeless. What a blessing we have to not to ever worry about food and clothing. And what an opportunity to give back to our community.
A few of my Young Women.
Coseth, Kedzie, Lindie, Kat, Erin, Abbie and Jacie
Alex took a Karate class at school for six sessions and loved every moment. I actually noticed a difference in his respect level at home as well.
Wiley thinks he'll get some food from someone!
Kedzie and Triston "hung up" some of Ethan's clothes for him one evening. So kind of them and oh so funny!
Ethan gave his first talk in church and it was fabulous. This picture shows how nervous he was before giving it, but he did such an amazing job and got so many compliments. I was bawling through the beginning of it because I was so proud of him. He's actually eager to speak again someday!
Time to set up for Christmas! We may have put things up before Thanksgiving this year. Don't tell anyone! We were stuck at home instead of going to Utah over Thanksgiving break, due to all the snow, so what else were we going to do? We decorated and painted! It was fun.
Of course the girls had to go get our nails painted!
And everyone assisted in trying to make a fort of some kind and the boys shoveled the driveway!
Ravsten's and Holland's made it to see Frozen II and loved it!
Thanksgiving was simple and delicious. We had just the right amount of food and everyone picked out something they really wanted. It was great. We ate and watched movies all day long.
Grateful for the fun Arter's! After soccer, we realized we were all going to the mall for one reason or another, so we went together. A huge crew, but super fun nonetheless!
