December adventures

December has been filled with love and gratitude and service. It's been a great month. I'm actually grateful that I haven't mourned my mom as much as I have in past years. Through #lighttheworld, every day, there was an opportunity to focus on others and I took advantage whenever I could. It was special. Even Jill participated, not being a member of the church. It was great. One day, I was honored by our Bishop on fb. Such special words and what an honor.

Kedzie has been rocking swim team. What a challenge to swim and exercise two hours each day. On occasion she even goes at 5am. So proud of her commitment and dedication to something she's made her mind up to do.  The first swim meet, she was one of the teammates awarded hawk of the meet. She actually volunteered to do the butterfly! So proud of her.

Kedzie was also a part of a chamber orchestra performance. She, a volunteer in the class and two of the triplets (friends again) did a number from the nutcracker. It was fantastic! Kedzie also spent an hour playing for a rehab center on a Saturday. So fun to hear great Christmas songs and see the smiles on the faces of the residents.

Every year Grandma Kathy provides our kids with 12 days of Christmas. What a blessing. We all look so forward to it each year. She's amazing and made the Christmas season pass by beautifully! I didn't take pictures every day, but here are some moments of fun. Getting the gifts, putting up window clings and cute hats and warm gloves.

Coseth and her boyfriend Olaf! lol

Ethan has been up to Loveland three times so far this month with the Layman's to snowboard and is having the time of his life with his friends. Grateful they're willing to take the squad up the hill.

Christmas fireside with our youth.

Coseth participated in so many white elephant parties at school and through Aspect and church. This was her favorite! She was super excited to build a ginger bread house and it turned out great.

My piano players! Played beautifully! Triston has since retired.

Wyatt had his birthday party at DEFY and Noah got to invite the 12 yo brothers. Such goof balls!
Ravi, Noah and Zeke.

No food allowed in the building, so pizza and cupcakes outside! Love these friends of Alex's and Triston's. Blessed to have them all.

"The squad" had a Christmas gift exchange party at the Franzen's. Again, grateful for good friends and good parents who support these pre teen boys!

Merry Christmas!
Love, Emily

And our sleepy puppy!
