Summer days are filled with hanging out, playing soccer, doing our chore and work book, playing with friends, playing not enough (according to kids) video games and soccer.
The boys did a week of XR in the hot July sun and loved it.
A youth activity at a pond in Northglenn was super fun for all.
Travis wrote and submitted some hymns for the new hymn book that will be released in the near future. A lot of people submitted music, but I'm just so proud of him for doing it. I love the songs he's written. Wouldn't it be so cool if each Sunday, around the world, members of the church were singing one of his songs? We won't hear for a while, but I'm proud that he put himself out there.
Brody and Cooper moved. The boys spent a lot of time playing together again before they left 138th Cir. Good times with the Krause's.
Triston and Ethan and friends played on one 3v3 team and Alex and his friends played on another. It was a fun, long day. Proud of their efforts and abilities to run! Alex's team won their age group.
Travis is the most patient dad most of the time! haha. This is an example of his patience. One boy on him. One boy laying and saying crazy things and a third boys being silly under the blanket. I was ignoring all behavior. He was living it! Love him.
Young Women and my boys serving at Foster Source.
Ethan's awesome therapist Amanda helped him through a really dark period of 6th grade. Sadly, she has changed jobs. Took a picture to remember how much she helped him throughout the year. She is missed by all.
Strain girls and Kedzie took a trip to the Temple before school started. Love them.
And this face...braces, scabs and all. He hit the bottom of the pool to scrape that nose and lip. Thank goodness he didn't hit his head. He is a stinker but we love him!
