Oh December, you went so fast! Actually, the year went fast. We all keep growing and learning and changing and we are all trying to do our best. I'm so proud of who my kids are turning into. I do wish they would listen a little more and be kinder to each other. I hope that will happen as they continue to grow. It's been a great year.
Ethan giving his speech for Judge. He didn't win, but he is the manager of the market at Ameritown in January. So proud of his efforts.
Love the Rainbow Unicorn team who only lost one game all season and it was to a bunch of 4th graders. They're a team of 3rd graders.
Kedzie and the young women at church volleyball. They won the tournament. Grateful for the girls Kedzie has to associate with.
Ethan had a fun team this season with friends and a nice coach. They didn't win any games, but they worked hard.
We had a few free days over the break and decided to paint the boys bedroom! We love how it turned out. Who's room is next?!
My sweet, sleeping babies...boys.
All my kids are doing piano now! I've bribed Ethan to take from me for six months just so he has a basic knowledge. The other three changed piano teachers in the fall and are now taking from Emily. They had a piano recital for christmas. Each kid played their own song and then a duet with Emily. It was so wonderful. But, I'm proud of them. They practice almost every day and seem to really enjoy piano.
Kedzie and the triplets after their Orchestra Christmas concert.

Ugly sweater party at the Zabel's. Love these couples. Harris, Zabel, Conover, Holland, Trail, Bruggeman and Tygart. A really fun night.
Christmas Eve sheninagans.
We had church on Christmas Eve and then we had the Wood's and Bjorkman's over for lunch and games to make the day go faster for us all. Both great families. So glad we could spend some fun time together.

Christmas and New Years Eve are always a little rough for me. I try hard not to be sad and to celebrate the things we are doing. I always cry and I always survive. This year was no different. I'm so grateful for my mom and the influence she had on me throughout my life. She was perfect for me and I think I was perfect for her. We were blessed to have each other.
New Years Eve was spent with the Nunnally's and Dorsett's again this year and it was perfect. We stayed until mid-night for the first time. The adults talked for six hours and the kids played together beautifully.
Excited for what 2018 has in store for us. I'm sure it will be much of the same, but we will learn and grow and be better. There will be skiing/riding, travelling, soccer and basketball, swimming, laughter, fighting, loving, learning and growing. I can't wait to participate!
