It's hard to believe that we are well into winter and we have a new year upon us. Life goes by rather quickly with four kids and a dog. But, I MOSTLY cherish the time I spend with my little family. I love seeing them grow and learn and change into the humans they are meant to become. I have some amazing kids. I'm truly blessed they call me mom...mom...mom...mom...just not all at the same time. Let's be honest!
We've managed to fill our time with some fun things. A favorite was going to the art museum to see the Star Wars costume exhibit. It was a few days after Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia, passed away and it was so exciting to see the real costumes used on real sets. We accidentally had the same tour time as the Nunnally's which made it even more fun for all. We love Star Wars and we loved Rogue One as well.
We went to a Horizon Basketball Game to watch our friend Jacob. Super fun!
Ethan got tickets to the Spurs vs. Nuggets game and took his dad and Alex. The Spurs won which made Ethan happy. A house divided, but they had a great time.
Kedzie, Ethan, Alex and I had an adventure together at Breckenridge. They are really becoming great skiers and boarders. It is a lot of fun to be on the mountain with them. Triston didn't want to come so he and Travis stayed home together. We had a perfect day in the sun and snow.
All three boys have been playing on an indoor soccer team with Alex's outdoor coach, Brian. He got a bunch of kids together from U8-U10 and put them in a U10 league. The boys play three other U-10 teams for eight weeks. So far, we've won all four games. It's quite amazing to see little seven year olds score on big 9-10 year olds. They still have some skills to master, but they are rocking it. It is seriously the best part of my week...Tuesday nights...watching my boys play soccer together, on the same team. It's a pretty intense 40 minutes of a great game.
MLK day we decided to go to an afternoon Nuggets game as a family. It was fun and the Nuggets beat the Magic, so we were happy about that too.
I was the chaperone for these crazies at the Stock Show this year. It was a lot of fun to be with them and to let them be wild and crazy and have a good time. Their favorite parts were sitting in the tractors and the trucks. They were having a great time pretending to drive and drive. Such great boys and such great friends.
