I realize it's the end of June and school's been out for over a month, but seriously, summer is busy! I don't stop being mom from 7a-8p. It isn't bad, it just doesn't give me time to keep this updated. Good thing I can go back in time in the blog-a-sphere!
My kids had a new art teacher this year and I think Ms. Day was fantastic. Look at these self portraits. Something I will forever cherish. I love them so much.
Kedzie had this art work on display at the local community college. She loves to draw.
Alex and Travis woke up early and went to see the balloons launch in Erie. He was the only one willing to go. They had a great time together.
Ethan ended his soccer season on a high note. He made three goals in two games on the last day of the season. He also received word that he was selected to play on the Gold team for this next year. His patience and hard work finally paid off and he'll be back with many of his old friends and possibly coach Brian. He is thrilled to be finally be recognized for his hard work in soccer.
This kid loves his dad and he's 9 and this may be one of the last times he wants his dad to hold him. Grateful I got the pic.
Wiley found mud and loved playing in it! Trouble maker
Kedzie had two great teachers this year. Mrs. Tong and Mrs. Martinez. Martinez is moving to California. Kedzie will miss her and had a great year with her as her home room teacher.
These two really do love each other.
These boys had field day and then a pirate treasure hunt. Eight of the 9 months of third grade were awesome for Ethan. He had some struggles with his teacher the last month that tainted his love for school. However, summer is here and he gets a new teacher and new year next year. He is smart and entertaining. He's awesome.
Travis was able to come to the boys day of learning and Triston was sooooo happy when he saw dad, he ran right into his arms. It was the cutest thing.
Field day fun. Alex

Ethan and his friends
The last day of Elementary school for this girl. She's off to Rocky Top and she's ready!
I think she grew between kindergarten and 5th grade! Just a little.
Ethan's silly class on the last day of school.
I found this in Kedzie's writing notebook. I couldn't be more proud to be an Aggie!
The boys of 3rd grade
We celebrated the end of school at Betsy's new house with the Dorsett's and Nunnally's. It was fun.
We also celebrated with dinner at Benihana. Yum!
The evening Ethan found out he made Gold for soccer. So happy!
These two. I love them. This was their last season of playing soccer together until either Alex plays up or they play in high school together. They are a good team and the best of friends.
This is the last game these boys will play together as well. Some are moving to Storm. Some are playing U8 and some U9. All these changes and they're so young. But, they continue to love the game of soccer. I'm proud of their hard work.
We sure do love this dog Wiley.
Last day of school! Happy kids!
More of field day. Kedzie with Hanna.
These kids worked so hard in school this year. They are all at or above grade level. They learned leadership skills and made new friends. They learned how to work through tough situations and are preparing for new adventures in the future. I love them and I'm grateful for their hard work in school and desire to learn and grow. I'm also grateful for their teachers and the time and effort they put into these kids on a daily basis. We are truly blessed.
Now, go enjoy Summer!
