Alex is FINALLY 7. He'll always be a little behind

It was Battle Dartz again this year for Alex! He was so excited to finally be joining his friends and brother in the ripe old age of seven.  It'll only last three more months.  Then, he'll be behind again.  But, that doesn't matter.  Alex had a fantastic birthday celebration with his old buddies and new friends that he's made in 1st grade.  A powerful bunch of boys.  May they always choose good.

His birthday was on Mother's Day Sunday this year. He was kind enough to share and gave me some great gifts as well.  It was wonderful sharing the day with my baby.

Alex is intelligent and athletic.  He's loving, sassy and mostly kind.  He will always be my baby, yet he doesn't need me to carry him as much any more and doesn't need to snuggle as much.  But, I'm always available! He loves to play soccer and is really good at it.  In fact, he continues to be quite gifted athletically.  He is nice to his friends and simply loves to play as much as possible.  He is still into playing cars when he's alone, which isn't very often.  He is doing fantastic at the piano and was the only one willing to get up a 6am on a Saturday to go to the balloon launch with his dad!

Happy 7th birthday Alex, so glad you were born!
