It's great to be eight!

This kid was born yesterday, I swear, and he turned my world upside down! He taught me how to be a mom to boys. He showed me how much fun life can be for a little boy.  He is an adventurer, a partier, a tender hearted, smart, loving and crazy boy! He loves soccer, football and basketball.  Everything he got for his birthday this year had to do with football! He doesn't play, other than with his brothers, but he loves it.  He is doing great in school and has many fabulous friends.  He can't stop moving! He wanders around the house tossing a football! He loves video games and watching similar shows on TV.  He loves his siblings although he shows it in ways they don't like sometimes.  He is funny and lovable   I can't believe he's going to be eight.

Ethan spent his birthday on an airplane flying to Orlando, Florida.  The plane load of people "lit" up their calls lights and he "blew" them out somewhere over Tennessee! Then, we spent the afternoon playing games at Disney Quest.  He was happy and smiled every time we said Happy Birthday.

We celebrated both Ethan and Kedzie's birthdays a week early because this poor kid "had" to be on an airplane and in Florida on his birthday! Poor Ethan! Happy birthday to my favorite Ethan in the whole wide world.  You make the world better just by being alive.  Thank you for your example of joy and love and for being mine forever! Not that you had a choice.
