She's 9

It's hard to believe, once again, that my 6.6lb first born, sweet baby girl is 9 years old and 55" tall.  She's got one foot to go to catch me.  And that's with a curved spine!  She's amazing.

What a year she's had. She was diagnosed with scoliosis, got braces, and this week she will be getting glasses! I'm the only one that is a little sad about it.  She's excited and happy about it all.  She's got my mom's optimistic genes.  It's quite amazing.  I'm grateful for her personality.

Kedzie is doing great in third grade.  She's reading at a 5th grade level and is slowly learning her multiplication and division facts.  She has a lot of friends and great teachers.  She has a testimony of Jesus Christ and shares it whenever she has a chance.

Kedzie's birthday was a little strange this year! She got to celebrate it with Ethan because he was sick on his birthday.  She was so nice and kind to do that for her brother.  She actually didn't feel 100% on her birthday anyway, so it all worked out.

She woke up to breakfast and gifts and headed to school where she shared donuts with her classmates.  I went to lunch with her and of course took Taco Bell with me!  She was happy.  She requested a lego boat with sharks for her birthday and she got some books as well.  Her party was on Saturday and the theme was Monster High!  She invited the sweetest girls to come over and we had fun.  Watched a Monster High episode, made monster goo, ate pizza and cake, opened presents and just hung out.  It was a great party!

Kedzie is strong physically and emotionally.  She is a wonderful daughter and boy am I grateful to have her around with all the boys in this house.  She loves to shop for shoes, earrings and she loves dreaming about the day she can wear make up! She loves little children and is a very talented and strong leader.  She loves our neighbors dogs and pretends that she is training them! Kedzie has the best imagination of anyone I know.  She's always had an imagination and I'm so grateful it continues on.  She is a fun loving, smart, kind young lady who is growing up so quickly.  I'm honored to be her mom.

Happy 9th birthday sis.  May this year be awesome as you are!
