So, two weeks ago, it rained for five straight days. We had no damage whatsoever. I think that's because we are in a newer neighborhood with drainage ditches all around. As you can see, the fields were filled with water. The news says that if the rain would have been snow, we would have had around 15 feet of snow. It was crazy. We are lucky to be safe and dry. Just twenty minutes from us, a few towns away, homes were lost, memories destroyed and rivers now running new paths. It's utter devastation. Members of our stake are providing a great deal of service to the people in the Longmont area. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others in need.
