"The days are long, but the years are short"

We've been busier than I realized as of late.  Here are some photos to prove it!
Isn't he the cutest kid ever?!

He's pretty cute too.  He came up with this all on his own!

Alex=not so cute when he dumped all the cat food out!

Ethan, Alex and Buddy!

Ethan, our soccer superstar!

Kedzie our soccer player that pretends, as she's playing the game,
to be riding her horse.  Seriously, she trots and whinny's as she runs
after the ball.  Not sure how much longer her soccer career will be!

Ethan practicing for halloween!

Alex's grumpy, angry face!

Kedzie's halloween costume this year you ask?!
A princess?  A cowgirl?  No....a ninja of course!

A daily occurrence: Alex removing all cushions from the couch!

We attempted to fish at Broomfield's Bay where they put trout in their
pool at the end of the season.  After an hour of no biting, we headed
to the Carlson's lake and had a bit more success.

Introducing "Bassy." It took three hours,
but Clay helped us catch this bassy!  Kedzie
couldn't really believe that we didn't keep it
alive for a pet!  Ugg...

Yes, Travis actually bought Alex a chocolate
ice cream cone!  Interesting.

The pumpkin patch was awesome this year because we went earlier
than usual.  Many of the pumpkins were still green and we had to make
our own pathway through the patch.  It was fun for all of us.
Everyone found the perfect pumpkin!

Grandma Kathy and Kedzie

The Ravsten's!

The Ravsten children!

Grandma Kathy and Reggie with the kids.

Alex and Ethan have both been taking gymnastics at the local rec
center.  They both love it!  I get to drive there twice in one day!
Do I love it?  I don't know, but I love my kids and they love it.
So, yes I suppose I do.

Kedzie holding Alex with other first graders waiting for the military
to land a helicopter at their school for red ribbon week.  It was very
exciting for everyone there!

Helicopter!
And, there you go.  a quick re-cap of what's been happening the past month.  I'm grateful that we have such wonderful opportunities to live life!  We are truly blessed.
